Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio Linhares started the match with the kick off. Marco da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulista having to interfere. Luís Paulista came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Cacá do Vale. But to his dismay, Cacá do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marco da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cacá do Vale scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacá do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulista having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Marco da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Gaúcho in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Waldir Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saiko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 33rd minute Cacá do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marco da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Saiko FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco da Mata couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Patrick Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mateus Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Cacá do Vale notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Vasqueiro FC's Luís Paulista. Luís Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Vasqueiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saiko FC were winning 0-6.

Marco da Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco da Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. When Patrick Romero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Patrick Romero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Vasqueiro FC's goalkeeper Luís Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Mandrak. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cacá do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cacá do Vale struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Luís Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saiko FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Linhares in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Paulista made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mateus Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cacá do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Marco da Mata fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cacá do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cacá do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saiko FC's Waldir Mandrak got a free kick in the 79th minute. Cacá do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cacá do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulista having to interfere. Mateus Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luís Paulista made a huge save. Marco da Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Paulista having to make a save. Luís Paulista was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Cacá do Vale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cacá do Vale really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7.
