An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Hamberg in the 6th minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Mario Radius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Hamberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Mario Radius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aracatiara EC's Pedrão Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Sven-Olof Hamberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Arnoldo Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite this Mario Radius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Mario Radius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Paez. In the 40th minute Pedrão Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Hamberg got free with Mario Radius in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Olof Hamberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Hamberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mario Radius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Radius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Hamberg in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Sven-Olof Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Radius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Furlan. The supporters of La MaKina del Parque booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Hamberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Aracatiara EC's Mario Radius. Mario Radius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Hamberg in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Radius saved Aracatiara EC from getting behind. Mario Radius came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by La MaKina del Parque's Sven-Olof Hamberg. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Hamberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 87th minute, Sven-Olof Hamberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La MaKina del Parque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aracatiara EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La MaKina del Parque.
