The crowd rose to their feet as Urbano Sagrario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inocencio Rubio. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Franja Dorada's Patricio Abajas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Inocencio Rubio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Franja Dorada booed when Club Atlético Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Sagrario might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
