The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Pontus Holmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jeronimo Gitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pontus Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Rosén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Gitano made a huge save. The supporters of Jonstorp FK booed when COSQUIN SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Echeverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Gitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pontus Holmberg went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jeronimo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, COSQUIN SFC's Jeronimo Gitano got control of the ball when Per-Arne Målare tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Lars Rosén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Rydberg in the 26th minute of play. Jeronimo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Rosén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Gitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Rosén's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Niclas Rydberg took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Gitano. Jeronimo Gitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Lars Rosén might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Gitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Rosén ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Pontus Holmberg in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jeronimo Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Rydberg in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Niclas Rydberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jeronimo Gitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Echeverri was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Ström in the 50th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Rosén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Gitano having to interfere. Lars Rosén scored 6-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Gitano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Holmberg in the 66th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Lars Rosén made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. COSQUIN SFC's Jeronimo Gitano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeronimo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Målare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COSQUIN SFC's Jeronimo Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Holmberg in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Jonstorp FK booed when COSQUIN SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jeronimo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonstorp FK. Jeronimo Gitano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonstorp FK's Niclas Rydberg. But to his dismay, Niclas Rydberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jonstorp FK had played much better football throughout.
