Rodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Jamilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Gabriel Oces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. CAI NEUQUEN's Serafin Lalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save CAI NEUQUEN from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Caroll in the 26th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Serafin Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gaueko Caroll came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaueko Caroll couldn't finish the play. Serafin Lalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaueko Caroll's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Serafin Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaueko Caroll in the 33rd minute of the match. Gaueko Caroll blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Lalla having to make a save. Serafin Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaueko Caroll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes in the game Honorato Eutropio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Feliberto Odon. Txindoki Colmenares kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Gabriel Oces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Odon came free, but Gamus Landeros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaueko Caroll in the 54th minute of the match. If Gaueko Caroll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillerme Bojorquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Guillerme Bojorquez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CAI NEUQUEN's Serafin Lalla did a great save. Gaueko Caroll took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Lalla. Serafin Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gaueko Caroll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaueko Caroll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Lalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aureliano Tuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gamus Landeros having to interfere. Serafin Lalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Caroll in the 81st minute of play. When Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gaueko Caroll in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAI NEUQUEN's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Guillerme Bojorquez hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. CAI NEUQUEN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
