Samsunspor's Yakup Kadri Tekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Mazierski in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Anıl Ege Devlet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakup Kadri Tekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Petrasz in the 18th minute of the match. Wisła Kraków's Witold Marchewka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków from getting a goal against them. Witold Marchewka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mecnun Başer in the 21st minute. Wasyl Ludzia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Ege Devlet came free, but Witold Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Petrasz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yakup Kadri Tekin having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anıl Ege Devlet in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witold Marchewka saved Wisła Kraków from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Petrasz came free, but Yakup Kadri Tekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Anıl Ege Devlet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Witold Marchewka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yakup Kadri Tekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Petrasz in the 38th minute of the match. When Radomir Pracki fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Radomir Pracki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Pracki to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mecnun Başer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wisła Kraków's Patryk Petrasz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yakup Kadri Tekin. Witold Marchewka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Başer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Wisła Kraków booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şafak Şeref didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Kingsley Schindler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Makomaski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Yakup Kadri Tekin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Wasyl Ludzia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Marchewka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anıl Ege Devlet's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Wisła Kraków's Marian Mazierski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yakup Kadri Tekin. Yakup Kadri Tekin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 83rd minute Mecnun Başer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Marchewka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witold Marchewka came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Samsunspor's Mecnun Başer. But to his dismay, Mecnun Başer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Wisła Kraków's Witold Marchewka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Ege Devlet in the 90th minute of play. Witold Marchewka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Ege Devlet in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Müfit Tolgahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Marchewka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Wisła Kraków left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samsunspor.
