The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 31 minutes into the game, Nitra FC's Pedrinho Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Bruvoll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Rune Le had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagene IF's Ronny Bruvoll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sagene IF from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the game, Andreas Grøndahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagene IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nitra FC the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Rune Le made the kick off in the second half. Ronny Bruvoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ole-Einar Opsahl during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Ole-Einar Opsahl got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Matheus Pitta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nitra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 65 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Grøndahl. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Castro couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes in the game, Rune Le fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cauã Guedes having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pinho came free, but Ronny Bruvoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Rune Le cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cauã Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's Ivar Stensrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauã Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nitra FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
