After some careless play in the Almaröds FF defense, Ermegildo Bartolome kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Glanselius. The Almaröds FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Glanselius should have stopped the shot. When Ermegildo Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Trocha Media FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Bartolome couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Winström. Ove Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Barros in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Ermegildo Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Ove Glanselius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Manni in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Glanselius saved Almaröds FF from getting behind. In the 34th minute Artemio Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Barros in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Arenstedt got free with Marciano Panpili in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Arenstedt was the one to do the kick off.
