With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovani Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Justino Lazcano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Tinoco was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pablo Noguera was slow to take the kick. During this time El coca fc's players had a chance to rest. Giovani Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goalkeeper Serafino Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Duarte. 24 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Lazcano came free, but Giovani Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Ardiles in the 25th minute of the match. Serafino Lopez made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gil Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Giovani Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Aguilera in the 36th minute of play. Justino Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Giovani Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El coca fc. Justino Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El coca fc getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Omero Simpson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in El coca fc's zone, José Augusto Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Lopez came out of the goal and José Augusto Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Lazcano was the one to do the kick off. Justino Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Giovani Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El coca fc. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xandinho Sharkin during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Noguera couldn't finish the play. Daniel Garais kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Angelino Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. José Augusto Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blumenau Esporte Clube's zone, Pablo Noguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Tinoco came out of the goal and Pablo Noguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
