A nice corner shot did that Leo Giro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlo Cirone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Leo Giro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Cirone was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Leo Giro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Favila came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Beppe Sacchetti. But to his dismay, Beppe Sacchetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Victor Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Totaro in the 17th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Ennio Totaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Diamante U18's Victor Favila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Maiorga made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Carlo Cirone would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Roma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Giro was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Diamante U18's players had a chance to rest. After 26 minutes, Damiano De Palma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the Deportivo Diamante U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano De Palma to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Cirone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Cirone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlo Cirone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Cirone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Conrado Maiorga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Mitxaut in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Cirone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the AC Roma defense, Leo Giro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Cirone. The AC Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Cirone should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Beppe Sacchetti made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Valentin Matei made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. AC Roma's Carlo Cirone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Maiorga in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Cirone saved AC Roma from getting behind. Ennio Totaro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Santiago Eufrasio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlo Cirone. AC Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. AC Roma's Carlo Cirone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Milito in the 74th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Vaiani to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
