Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beppe Sacchetti kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Rakowski came free, but Carlo Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Inácio Amaral sped through AC Roma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlo Cirone. If Iwo Fafinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel van Zwieten in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Radowit Rakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henk Hoebe fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Kasteelheren's protests and gave Henk Hoebe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Roma booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Hoebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Kasteelheren's Jan Zorge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save De Kasteelheren from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes, Adriaan Bulder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the AC Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Adriaan Bulder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Jan Zorge managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when AC Roma's Ennio Totaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfonso Vaiani hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Vaiani to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Radowit Rakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the AC Roma defense, Radowit Rakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Cirone. The AC Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Cirone should have stopped the shot. De Kasteelheren's Anthony Hillen suffered a sore knee after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Aurelio Barresi's late challenge caught a De Kasteelheren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Barresi helped the player get up and apologised. De Kasteelheren made a substitution. Abraham Brouwers replaced Anthony Hillen. In the 41st minute, Aurelio Barresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Cirone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel van Zwieten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Cirone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Brouwers, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The AC Roma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Kasteelheren were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Amaral was the one to do the kick off. Iwo Fafinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Cirone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Totaro came free, but Jan Zorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Zorge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Barresi in the 60th minute of the match. Carlo Cirone came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Abraham Brouwers. But to his dismay, Abraham Brouwers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Rakowski in the 67th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Carlo Cirone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Inácio Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Cirone was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. If Abraham Brouwers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Odisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Barresi to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match, Radowit Rakowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlo Cirone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute, De Kasteelheren's Inácio Amaral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlo Cirone. Carlo Cirone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 83 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Amaral came free, but Carlo Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Capuozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Rakowski in the 87th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Carlo Cirone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Cirone having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Cosimo Maccarone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Zorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Kasteelheren played a much better game than AC Roma and deserved their victory. The AC Roma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
