Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Rogers kicked off to start the match. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Alessio Odisio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Raschke in the 9th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Carlo Cirone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Raschke in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Rogers came free, but Carlo Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Feliks Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio Totaro. Grasshoppers Klucze's Feliks Dec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Grasshoppers Klucze from getting a goal against them. Feliks Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beppe Sacchetti in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Rogers to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Grasshoppers Klucze got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Ciborek. In the 28th minute, Beppe Sacchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Cirone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Rogers in the 31st minute of play. Beppe Sacchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Ennio Totaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the Grasshoppers Klucze players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlo Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Rogers in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Beppe Sacchetti made the kick off in the second half. Beppe Sacchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Feliks Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Roma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witalis Rosiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Grasshoppers Klucze's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Wincent Ciborek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Steve Rogers scored 0-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Cirone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlo Cirone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Raschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The corner ended in Bogdan Raschke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Roma's Carlo Cirone did a great save. AC Roma's Carlo Cirone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Rogers in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Raschke came free, but Carlo Cirone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Cirone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Raschke in the 90th minute of the match. Steve Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grasshoppers Klucze made a substitution. Roch Mikulski replaced Bogdan Raschke. Carlo Cirone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Rogers's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
