Spectators: 7769 (Terracing: 5827, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Jules Gangloff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelsinho Leite made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Javier Bordat sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 7 minutes, Javier Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Lemahieu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute SILMONT were awarded a corner. Freddy Escudié went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Javier Bordat heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marcel Lemahieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Patrice Marsonet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Vascogoianiense FC got a corner. SILMONT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dorian Quirino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Vascogoianiense FC's Dorian Quirino to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrice Marsonet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Damazy Ruszczyk hit a great ball. Dorian Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrice Marsonet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Vascogoianiense FC from getting a goal against them. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SILMONT's Marcel Lemahieu. But to his dismay, Marcel Lemahieu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Vascogoianiense FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SILMONT booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vascogoianiense FC's Dede Barros was substituted for Bebeto Leal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Javier Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Bordat in the 59th minute of play. Jules Gangloff might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelsinho Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jules Gangloff ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Boisnard came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrice Marsonet made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alexandre Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Bordat came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Gangloff in the 84th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Bordat came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philippe Jardel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Ruszczyk. The crowd rose to their feet as Vascogoianiense FC's Alexandre Tepedino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrice Marsonet. That made the score 1-1 after 92 minutes of play. Jules Gangloff's late challenge caught a Vascogoianiense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jules Gangloff helped the player get up and apologised. SILMONT were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
