The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Luis Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED KHAGAN the free kick. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luis Johnson hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Magallanes's Selmo Scholtzl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Selmo Scholtzl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Magallanes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Selmo Scholtzl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, Selmo Scholtzl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Magallanes's zone, Saadettin Şiraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Las Casas came out of the goal and Saadettin Şiraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batıkan Atay. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. A collision led to RED KHAGAN getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pars Türcan hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Kowalesko came free, but Atalan Cebeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batıkan Atay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tomás Las Casas made a huge save. Atalan Cebeci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Kowalesko in the 43rd minute of the match. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sacit Tezveren in the 44th minute of play. Honorio Kowalesko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalan Cebeci having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

RED KHAGAN's Atalan Cebeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Kowalesko in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Canel in the 54th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes RED KHAGAN got a freekick which was hit by Pars Türcan. After a defensive mix-up in RED KHAGAN's zone, Honorio Kowalesko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atalan Cebeci came out of the goal and Honorio Kowalesko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Las Casas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıkan Atay in the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Manuel Losada got free with Atalan Cebeci in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manuel Losada struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Atalan Cebeci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magallanes. Christian Aravena's late challenge caught a RED KHAGAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Aravena helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes, RED KHAGAN's Saadettin Şiraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED KHAGAN reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıkan Atay in the 91st minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Manuel Losada in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atalan Cebeci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes RED KHAGAN got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Tezveren. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RED KHAGAN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Magallanes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
