Mandrake fc's Vito Cayuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Endura in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anaut Turrilla hit a great ball. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mandrake fc! Filiberto Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Hevia, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Serrano. Barto Radaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Nofre having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Leonel Marin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vito Cayuela, 2-0. Vito Cayuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Endura in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mandrake fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Rainerio was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Mitre City's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Rainerio made a great header on Villa Mitre City's corner, it was just that Mandrake fc's Vito Cayuela managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 42nd minute, Jacques Hevia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Nofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacques Hevia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre City's zone, Jacques Hevia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Nofre came out of the goal and Jacques Hevia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Gonchan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Dalmacio Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Cayuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Leonardo Serrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Nofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacques Hevia's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Filiberto Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Hevia, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Leonel Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pedro Rainerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Cayuela was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Jacques Hevia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Mandrake fc were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Villa Mitre City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Serrano took the corner. Mandrake fc's Leonardo Serrano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiberto Nofre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 79th minute, Mandrake fc's Jacques Hevia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filiberto Nofre. Filiberto Nofre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Jacques Hevia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Filiberto Nofre made a huge save. Abad Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Mandrake fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mandrake fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
