Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Clinton in the 14th minute of play. Naglis Jonušas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Clinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaclovas Jacinaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ciocâltea having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Naglis Jonušas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Herkus Balsys got a free kick in the 34th minute. Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Cangiano in the 37th minute of play. Herkus Balsys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ciocâltea having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herkus Balsys to make the kick off. Albertas Dabašinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Denis Vega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naglis Jonušas came out of the goal and Denis Vega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Ciocâltea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitoldas Kuliešius in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mike Clinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Clinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naglis Jonušas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deividas Laužikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Clinton in the 87th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Naglis Jonušas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
