Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joop Hollandts got the match started through his kick off. Frenchville Sports Club's Kyle Bailey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Bastin in the 4th minute of play. Joop Hollandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Bailey having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burns Baba got free with Julius Vanneste in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Burns Baba fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frenchville Sports Club's protests and gave Burns Baba a yellow card for diving instead. Limburg United's Herald Van de Velde was substituted for Luke Demarez. Burns Baba hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jason Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Bailey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garry Bastin in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyle Bailey saved Frenchville Sports Club from getting behind. Henri-Xavier Van Der Talen made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bob Thielens immediately put the ball in play. Garry Bastin struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kyle Bailey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frenchville Sports Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kieth De Hond was slow to take the kick. During this time Limburg United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Limburg United's Garry Bastin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, Limburg United's Julius Vanneste got control of the ball when Starri Ööpik tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joop Hollandts in the 41st minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Kyle Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Maciver didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Jonckers came free, but Kyle Bailey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Jonckers in the 47th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Kyle Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Garry Bastin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kyle Bailey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Limburg United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Starri Ööpik made a kick off. Bob Thielens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barney Boylin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jason Jonckers hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burns Baba in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Starri Ööpik. Garry Bastin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyle Bailey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the game Henri-Xavier Van Der Talen made a throw-in which Garry Bastin played forward. Kyle Bailey came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Garry Bastin. But to his dismay, Garry Bastin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jason Jonckers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Kyle Bailey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frenchville Sports Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Limburg United booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Maciver didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joop Hollandts in the 87th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Kyle Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Frenchville Sports Club defense, Jason Jonckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kyle Bailey. The Frenchville Sports Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kyle Bailey should have stopped the shot. After 95 minutes of play, Frenchville Sports Club's Burns Baba made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julius Vanneste was left in no man's land by his defense there!
