In the 8th minute Snorre Bredal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauri Tervo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on FRANK's corner Stefan Mathiassen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauri Tervo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmari Seppo in the 18th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilmari Seppo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asmund Normann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes Liverpool FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefan Mathiassen who took care of the corner kick. Hugo Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jimi Lindström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Stefan Mathiassen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauri Tervo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 卓棋真 hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mauri Tervo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half FRANK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimi Lindström was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Stefan Mathiassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauri Tervo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Snorre Bredal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 61 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilmari Seppo. Mikko Koivuranta charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hugo Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teuvo Latvanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Asmund Normann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Stefan Mathiassen came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FRANK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Mathiassen couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaapro Tarvainen. Mauri Tervo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stefan Mathiassen. In the 90th minute, Stefan Mathiassen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FRANK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. FRANK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
