Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Northern California's Fabio Monte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Schembri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Patriciu in the 4th minute of the match. David Schembri came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Luck's Sever Patriciu. But to his dismay, Sever Patriciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Scutaru in the 13th minute of play. Nicu Mincu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Northern California's Conrado Frans. But to his dismay, Conrado Frans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nicu Mincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Monte in the 22nd minute of the match. FC Luck's Nicu Mincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Monte in the 26th minute of play. Eduard Mutu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Conrado Frans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicu Mincu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Northern California were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after FC Luck's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Martxel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hector Martxel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicu Mincu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Monte came free, but Nicu Mincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Schembri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Scutaru in the 41st minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Mutu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, FC Luck's Sever Patriciu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Schembri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Monte. 60 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Frans came free, but Nicu Mincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Isias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Nicu Mincu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Conrado Frans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Luck's Nicu Mincu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Northern California booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Neicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Niculae Scutaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Monte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicu Mincu came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Monte slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 75th minute. Fabio Montes short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Nicu Mincu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Schembri came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Luck's Sever Patriciu. But to his dismay, Sever Patriciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Northern California booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Mercescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Niculae Scutaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Patriciu in the 95th minute of play. FC Luck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
