George Echavarri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Albino Herena made a huge save. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern Maurich's goalkeeper Albino Herena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Echavarri in the 16th minute of play forced Bayern Maurich's goalkeeper Albino Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bayern Maurich booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Echavarri to make the kick off. Albino Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 51 minutes of play, UE Cornella's Pablo Vegetti made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Herena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the game, UE Cornella's Segundo Casco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Albino Herena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Casco went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Pablo Vegetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Herena having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Bayern Maurich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Tiadoro made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Saverio Abilio however managed to control. Albino Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Pablo Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Bayern Maurich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. UE Cornella walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
