Raycho Kaleev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Levent Gervazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Boyko Tuevski hit a great ball. Raycho Kaleev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Gomez in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With an all-out effort, Cup2's Edmundo Catarinense threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Argir Tishinov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Moraes in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raycho Kaleev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levent Gervazov in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Cordeiro came free, but Raycho Kaleev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
