Tuncer Polathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Si Fei in the 5th minute of play. Li Wei Nan made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Mauri Icardi sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Daniel Tischler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncer Polathan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Ahmet İlke Akbayrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAN ERZURUM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lions Levice the free kick. After 9 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlke Akbayrak. After 10 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya. The supporters of FC Lions Levice booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé 武松 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Tischler came free, but Tuncer Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuncer Polathan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Božok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Róbert Plško hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CAN ERZURUM fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when CAN ERZURUM's Atabek Tecimen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, CAN ERZURUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya to maneuver through the defense. Atabek Tecimens short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Li Wei Nan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hakkı Deniz Yerlikaya kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Ümit Zeren got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Si Fei came free, but Tuncer Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wang Si Fei took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tuncer Polathan. Tuncer Polathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 34th minute Atabek Tecimen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Wei Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncer Polathan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Tischler in the 38th minute of the match. Li Wei Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Esenboğa in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Kudlak in the 41st minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Tuncer Polathan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atabek Tecimen struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Li Wei Nan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAN ERZURUM. 44 minutes into the match, Wang Si Fei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncer Polathan. CAN ERZURUM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wang Si Fei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 48 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Si Fei came free, but Tuncer Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Aha Gol replaced Golo Machinam. CAN ERZURUM's Özden Uruç was substituted for Ümit Zeren. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atabek Tecimen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Tischler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tuncer Polathan made a huge save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lions Levice's goalkeeper Li Wei Nan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ümit Akyüz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Li Wei Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Akyüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Tuncer Polathan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Božok. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Kudlak got free with Tuncer Polathan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tuncer Polathan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Tischler went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. FC Lions Levice's Li Wei Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Tecimen in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimír Vilček came free, but Tuncer Polathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lions Levice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vladimír Vilček in the 89th minute. Vojtech Strapec made a great header on FC Lions Levice's corner, it was just that CAN ERZURUM's Tuncer Polathan managed to reach the ball for a save. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Tischler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tuncer Polathan, 1-4. When the match was over FC Lions Levice could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CAN ERZURUM throughout the match.
