Edilberto Beguellina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Edilberto Beguellina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oriol Gavilanes during the 21st minute. In the 39th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Edilberto Beguellina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Quintal's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Quintal in the 45th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Edilberto Beguellina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidensio Mendieta hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Edilberto Beguellina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Quintal in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gorka Astola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natã Quintal came free, but Edilberto Beguellina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorka Astola in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Unikurdos United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorka Astola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Dino Tavares. Dino Tavares took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edilberto Beguellina. Edilberto Beguellina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edilberto Beguellina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 77th minute of play. Natã Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edilberto Beguellina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Nova Venécia-ES's Natã Quintal in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edilberto Beguellina came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Natã Quintal. But to his dismay, Natã Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Edilberto Beguellina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Unikurdos United F.C. from getting a goal against them.
