The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Alfors during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unikurdos United F.C. booed when Pihl United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gorka Astola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Sundberg in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edilberto Beguellina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pihl United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unikurdos United F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
