Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Pereira started the match with the kick off. Lázaro Mincho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Gago in the 3rd minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Fontes came free, but Eurico lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GRÊMIO were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after FC Beatriz 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Machado took the corner. In the 13th minute, Roberto Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 史挺南's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Maia in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Márcio Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Mincho was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Rafael Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Mincho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Eurico lago came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by GRÊMIO's 史挺南. But to his dismay, 史挺南 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Geovani Teles fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GRÊMIO's protests and gave Geovani Teles a yellow card for diving instead. Geovani Teles hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Márcio Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Márcio Cordeiro hit a great ball. Eurico lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Eurico lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Pirani went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute Abel Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 史挺南 made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, GRÊMIO's Geovanni Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Pereira in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Mincho saved GRÊMIO from getting behind. A collision led to GRÊMIO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Abel Pirani hit a great ball. Eurico lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史挺南, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match Roger Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico lago skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Beatriz 08's zone, Maicon Capitão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico lago came out of the goal and Maicon Capitão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Pirani in the 69th minute. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Pirani in the 70th minute of the match. Márcio Cordeiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of GRÊMIO booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Machado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when GRÊMIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilis Rožėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 史挺南 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Eurico lago made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded GRÊMIO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Beatriz 08.
