The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Adalberto Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jereba 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Damião in the 10th minute of play forced AC Superstar's goalkeeper Charles Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Zé Paulo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jereba 4EVER! When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, AC Superstar's Kjell Sjöberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Donato Lira. 19 minutes into the match, Adalberto Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Johansson. AC Superstar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in AC Superstar's zone, Zé Paulo Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Johansson came out of the goal and Zé Paulo Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Macedo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Dino de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Adalberto Macedo sped through AC Superstar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Johansson. Charles Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Castro in the 32nd minute of the match. Charles Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Macedo in the 41st minute of play forced AC Superstar's goalkeeper Charles Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Dino de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Harry Hernström took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Donato Lira to make any attempt to save it.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Macedo to make the kick off. With a little luck, AC Superstar's Charles Johansson got control of the ball when Adalberto Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Hernström's late challenge caught a Jereba 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Hernström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Harry Hernström got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Paulo Castro could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Charles Johansson however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th match minute, Jereba 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Damião to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, AC Superstar's Kjell Sjöberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Lira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Superstar reached it. In the 57th minute, Zé Paulo Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino de Toledo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Johansson. Charles Johansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo Castro got free with Charles Johansson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Spetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goalkeeper Charles Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Maria Arce. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Hernström in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Adalberto Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd play minute Zé Paulo Castro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Charles Johansson. 2-6. When Zé Paulo Castro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jereba 4EVER's protests and gave Zé Paulo Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Paulo Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goalkeeper Charles Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Castro. Dudu Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Zé Paulo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Charles Johansson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jereba 4EVER's Dino de Toledo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-8 in the ordered_time% minute. The AC Superstar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jereba 4EVER's performance. The match ended with a win for Jereba 4EVER.
