After 12 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Xabier. After having played for 14 minutes, Arturo Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luiz Fernando Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Operário Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Cearense couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Isidro Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Fernando Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Sérgio Nascimento took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gustavo Sauveur to make any attempt to save it. Gustavo Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Qin Ang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Xabier's late challenge caught a Operário Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Xabier helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Errecaborda AFC! Gustavo Sauveur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Cearense went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fernando Cearense to make the kick off. Sérgio Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme de Amaral in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Errecaborda AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Rydzyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Operário Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Arturo Maraman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Luiz Fernando Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 70th minute Luiz Fernando Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Sauveur. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fernando Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Operário Futebol Clube's Gabriel Aparecido got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute Luiz Guilherme de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Mambru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qin Ang Cheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Sérgio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Operário Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Errecaborda AFC for a fine match.
