Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Vae Victis!! from getting a goal against them. Octavia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nesor Abadie in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Neto came free, but Ado Abello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Atarratze Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Octavia's goalkeeper Ado Abello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Vae Victis!! got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Mota. Nesor Abadie, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ado Abello came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Vae Victis!!'s Dorian Neto. But to his dismay, Dorian Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ado Abello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Tasso during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Délio Tasso hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Papo Abalos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Papo Abalos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Pimenta during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Vitório Pimenta got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitório Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. If Atarratze Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atarratze Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Octavia booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vae Victis!!'s Ivo Domingues was substituted for Natã Terra. In the 64th match minute, Vae Victis!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Atarratze Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Atarratze Abarca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atarratze Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atarratze Abarca's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Atarratze Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Atarratze Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Distiratsu Abajas struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Octavia. After 85 minutes, Ivo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vae Victis!! and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Ivo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vae Victis!!'s zone, Paulin Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Gabriel Cabral came out of the goal and Paulin Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Octavia booed when Vae Victis!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Nesor Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vae Victis!! were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Octavia's much stronger midfield.
