An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Otto in the 18th minute of play forced Broakulla's goalkeeper Jon Markusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Markusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Holcomb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkadir Ömür got free with Trenton Call in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jon Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Cabrera in the 27th minute of the match. Jon Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kareem Arredondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jon Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Cabrera in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Brendan Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Knights FC's Trenton Call proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Black Knights FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Ari Holcomb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ari Holcomb kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Otto in the 44th minute of play forced Broakulla's goalkeeper Jon Markusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Hamberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Broakulla's Jon Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ari Holcomb in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Benet to make the kick off. Jon Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Otto in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Black Knights FC were awarded a corner. George Cao Xiao went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Leon Burrell heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Broakulla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Ari Holcomb scored to the left of an out of position Jon Markusson, making the score, 0-2. In the 61st match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Holcomb to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Kareem Arredondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ari Holcomb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jon Markusson came out and tried to block the shot, but Ari Holcomb slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. Ari Holcomb hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Black Knights FC's Jon Markusson threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Cabrera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diego Cabrera took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Markusson. Jon Markusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Broakulla's Jon Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Broakulla from getting a goal against them. Ari Holcomb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jon Markusson made a huge save.
