Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Bodin started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Vallengren in the 10th minute of play forced Kultapossukerho's goalkeeper Elbert Hand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Bodin in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jogga Bandito FC's Einar Sjöman got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Kultapossukerho got a corner. Jogga Bandito FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ari Hakanpää ran over to the corner to take the kick. Timo Forsman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 25 minutes, Ingvar Lilja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jogga Bandito FC and the Kultapossukerho players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jogga Bandito FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ingvar Lilja hit a great ball. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Vallengren in the 27th minute of play. Terho Brinck hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jonas Bodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elbert Hand was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Elbert Hand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Bodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Bodin in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jogga Bandito FC's Jonas Bodin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ari Hakanpää in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anders Olsman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ari Hakanpää, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Jogga Bandito FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ari Hakanpää to strike the kick off in the second half. Kultapossukerho's Pietari Jaakkola got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Jogga Bandito FC's Patrick Vallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elbert Hand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Jack Sundström in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kultapossukerho's Hernan Leizarraga. In the 63rd minute, Patrick Vallengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elbert Hand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Wester came free, but Elbert Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jogga Bandito FC defense, Ari Hakanpää kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Olsman. The Jogga Bandito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Olsman should have stopped the shot. When Ingvar Lilja was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, Jogga Bandito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Lilja to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jogga Bandito FC's Patrick Vallengren got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Anders Olsman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Jack Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Wester in the 91st minute of play. Elbert Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Sundström in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veikka Koskinen during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elbert Hand made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Pelle Wester sent off a good shot on target.
