In the 13th match minute, Cosa nostra Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hercule Frison to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Advíncula to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the game Luís Advíncula made a throw-in which Ignacio Txatxu played forward. In the 21st match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Guib to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Contant came free, but Ubaldo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vivien Contant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosa nostra Lyon's Thibault Buffiere quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luís Advíncula, made in the 36th minute of the game. Antonio Barijho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Advíncula to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Barijho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clem Fath having to interfere. With a little luck, Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath got control of the ball when Antonio Barijho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hercule Frison fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosa nostra Lyon's protests and gave Hercule Frison a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Hercule Frison. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Barijho to make the kick off. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Barijho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tim Ménet hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Barijho in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clem Fath saved Cosa nostra Lyon from getting behind. Ignacio Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice was substituted for Hercule Frison. With a little luck, STARK F.C.'s Ubaldo Fillol got control of the ball when Vivien Contant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vivien Contant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Fillol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diegotxe Maradona in the 91st minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwann Patrice might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Fillol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwann Patrice ran back to his position shaking his head. STARK F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cosa nostra Lyon to leave the ground with a draw.
