First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Navarro Finden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Gatti came out of the goal and Navarro Finden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Celso Sauveur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 46th minute, Arrigo Zarillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Tarantini was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alexander Tarantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bari F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Navarro Finden kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Pompilio came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Zarillo in the 87th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Pompilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
