Degerfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeu Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Adelino Saldanha notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 14 minutes, Åke Fors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Fors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 16th minute of play. Hílton Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz got control of the ball when Fredrik Isak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Penha couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Falcão Soeiro during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonard Christoffersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Prestes in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Sandberg saved Degerfors IF from getting behind. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zygmunt Filanowski hit a great ball. Åke Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Ferraz having to interfere. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Degerfors IF defense, Tadeu Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. The Degerfors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Sandberg should have stopped the shot.
