The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Petka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Seguinus. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Rafe. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Petka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Seguinus was a little too slow when Dante Rafe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Herbert Petka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rosendo Seguinus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iker Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Boruc didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Bogdan Udrişte shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice moves Dante Rafe could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Rosendo Seguinus however easily saved by the left post. Rosendo Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Petka in the 28th minute. If Herbert Petka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Aron Zgrăbunţa made a precise shot to the right of Iker Boruc. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Daniel Kipchirchir Carvajal charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Kipchirchir Carvajal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Rafe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zdzislaw Rekowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match GIOVANNI DZIADZIA got a corner. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariusz Jop ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariusz Jop almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus did a great save. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Puiu in the 67th minute of play. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Petka, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Bogdan Udrişte notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Petka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Borys Serwacki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASF BAIA MARE -MM- the free kick. The corner led GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Mariusz Jop to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosendo Seguinus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Petka made a great header on GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's corner, it was just that ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute Wit Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- for a fine match.
