The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Richárd Lehoczky got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Richárd Lehoczky threw the ball into play from the sideline. Forever Tango's Angel Gelmiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 16th minute of the match Szajk LC got a corner. Forever Tango's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Lidon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Makkai in the 19th minute of play. Baldomiro Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Baldomiro Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal and Baldomiro Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Forever Tango's Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tamás Galambos put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Edwin van der Sar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Senio in the 29th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamás Galambos in the 31st minute of play. Richárd Lehoczky made a great header on Szajk LC's corner, it was just that Forever Tango's Edwin van der Sar managed to reach the ball for a save. Szajk LC's Richárd Lehoczky got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Richárd Lehoczky off the ground. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ede Szénási received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Edwin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Forever Tango's Rolando Rozarius was substituted for Angel Gelmiro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Senio to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ede Szénási in the 52nd minute of play forced Forever Tango's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Uzuri in the 56th minute of play. Forever Tango's Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Forever Tango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli couldn't finish the play. Edwin van der Sar was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Levente Makkai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Levente Makkai really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. With a little luck, Forever Tango's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Tamás Galambos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Dávid Benkó got a free kick in the 74th minute. Özdemir Babayiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Senio took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özdemir Babayiğit. Özdemir Babayiğit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Szajk LC made a substitution. Miklós Bogdán replaced Csongor Csorba. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Gergely got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Szajk LC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
