Waclaw Zbydniowski kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Tanek Jucha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. In the 13th minute, Daniel Rojas made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Siekierka. AP Tempo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rich Barth made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cezary Kostka sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Korytkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Siekierka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd play minute Cezary Kostka came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rich Barth. 2-1. In the 28th minute, AP Tempo's Aleksander Ludwiczak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Rich Barth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kostka, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Eugeniusz Siekierka came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caaguazu's Daniel Rojas. But to his dismay, Daniel Rojas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Tanek Jucha's late challenge caught a Caaguazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tanek Jucha helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Caaguazu's Rich Barth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Ludwiczak in the 52nd minute of play. Eugeniusz Siekierka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Rojas in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, AP Tempo's goal looked a bit too open when Malvin Vidaurre came free, but Eugeniusz Siekierka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaroslaw Pilarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Arlo Albiz suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Caaguazu made a substitution. Kismi Sierralta replaced Arlo Albiz. After 79 played minutes AP Tempo got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Klejnowski. With his leg Eugeniusz Siekierka managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Caaguazu's Kismi Sierralta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
