Frédéric Gout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Feria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Quintero came free, but Frédéric Gout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frédéric Gout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro León in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Augustin Boulnois got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes, PERSPOLIS's Frutos Barrios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frédéric Gout came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PERSPOLIS reached it. Gaspar Vazquez scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frédéric Gout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frédéric Gout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro León in the 17th minute of play. Gaétan Bouchard in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar Badia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 35 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Quintero came free, but Frédéric Gout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facundo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Terry Sauvestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Facundo Feria notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cats and dogs's Frédéric Gout. Frédéric Gout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes of play, PERSPOLIS's Emiliano Quintero made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédéric Gout was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terry Sauvestre to strike the kick off in the second half. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Sauvestre in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Vazquez came free, but Frédéric Gout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PERSPOLIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cats and dogs the free kick. In the 78th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiyo Esperta to maneuver through the defense. Tony Jérémie charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Jérémie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tony Jérémie kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. PERSPOLIS's Emiliano Quintero got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terry Sauvestre in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Badia saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Quintero during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Quintero. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Sauvestre in the 93rd minute of the match. The Cats and dogs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PERSPOLIS's performance. The match ended with a win for PERSPOLIS.
