Atletico Benevento's Filippo Barducci couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gold Army 1923. 18 minutes into the match, Antonello Tripodi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, 1-0. In the 20th minute of the match, Ferruccio Paganelli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gold Army 1923's Duran Kunter managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Caroselli in the 66 minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuzalp Akıncıbey came free, but Antonello Doris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Dorukhan Yavuzhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Army 1923's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorukhan Yavuzhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
