In the 35th match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Gordon to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Moneyball's Jiří Martinek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Akif Ersoy. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. James Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. František Korčák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Yaltır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiří Martinek to make the kick off. Mehmet Akif Ersoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Martinek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiří Martinek ran back to his position shaking his head.
