A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luís Hernandez hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Denis Silban came free, but Paulo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Hernandez in the 7th minute of the match. Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Carmelo Amato got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Rosendo Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Denis Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Rosio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Quico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Gonzo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Paulo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Luís Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celtic FC's Angelo Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Hernandez in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Quico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
