Luis Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Alain Heuze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Horejš. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corentin Serre in the 10th minute of play forced Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Luis Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. En avant de guingamp's Alain Heuze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save En avant de guingamp from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Mervart. After 20 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Emil Chesaru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corentin Serre in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Monico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Clément Wiss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luis Monico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the game, Clément Wiss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. En avant de guingamp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pardubice Hurricanes the free kick. In the 27th match minute, En avant de guingamp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clément Wiss to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pardubice Hurricanes booed when En avant de guingamp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corentin Serre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, En avant de guingamp's Alain Heuze got control of the ball when Tomáš Horejš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clément Wiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, En avant de guingamp's Ewan Darnaud got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tomáš Horejš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alain Heuze made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Pardubice Hurricanes's Tomáš Horejš dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Ghislain Couet kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Hercule Alcaraz came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the En avant de guingamp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hercule Alcaraz couldn't finish the play.

Alain Heuze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Jorge in the 56th minute of play. Pardubice Hurricanes's Luis Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrien Jallat in the 57th minute of play. Corentin Serre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Luis Monico made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrien Jallat got free with Luis Monico in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corentin Serre in the 66th minute of play. Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Rychtář was substituted for Tomáš Horejš. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Radoslav Plašil hit a great ball. Hercule Alcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Luis Monico made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corentin Serre in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Monico saved Pardubice Hurricanes from getting behind. The corner ended in Ghislain Couet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pardubice Hurricanes's Luis Monico did a great save. 81 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Corentin Serre came free, but Luis Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Rychtář in the 83rd minute of play forced En avant de guingamp's goalkeeper Alain Heuze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Heuze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslav Plašil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alain Heuze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Rychtář, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
