Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesús Cárdenas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Monsanto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Guillermo Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Colon in the 20th minute of play. Javier Gandarias's late challenge caught a SC Angrense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Gandarias helped the player get up and apologised. Javier Gandarias hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. SC Angrense's Rui Lage collided with an opponent after 25 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. 25 minutes into the game, Hernando Vilaprenyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roneros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Angrense the free kick. SC Angrense's Paulo Belém shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Asensio Berzosa but with some difficulty. Sebastião Monsanto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Cárdenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manuel Leme came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SC Angrense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Leme couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Jesús Cárdenas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesús Cárdenas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Álvaro Vilaça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asensio Berzosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Angrense's Sebastião Monsanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Colon in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Álvaro Vilaça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asensio Berzosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hernando Vilaprenyo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Gandarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Curado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Hernando Vilaprenyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asensio Berzosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Curado in the 79th minute of the match. Caetano Curado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sebastião Monsanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Gandarias to maneuver through the defense. Asensio Berzosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Vilaça in the 89th minute of play. SC Angrense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
