The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Yamen Husam came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Líbano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yamen Husam couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Líbano's Mohammad Fareed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Di Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zheng Di Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yamen Husam in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to MDS Soccer Club getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Chicão Martins hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Jacinto during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Fernando Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zheng Di Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wajdi Abou Hafez in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Yamen Husam came free, but Zheng Di Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Líbano were awarded a corner. Wajdi Abou Hafez went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16thth minute of the game Rafiq Bahir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Yamen Husam came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Líbano fans jumped to their feet. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save MDS Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. Hafiz Romad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Lukasz Gmoch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hafiz Romad. Líbano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukasz Gmoch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Líbano's Hafiz Romad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Brasil in the 32nd minute of play. Hafiz Romad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yamen Husam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Zheng Di Xi made a huge save. Fernando Jacinto got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st minute, one of MDS Soccer Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MDS Soccer Club. Zheng Di Xi had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Mohammad Fareed's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Mohammad Fareed did a trick in the 44th minute in front of MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by Líbano's Mohammad Fareed! With a little luck, MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi got control of the ball when Yamen Husam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yamen Husam to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Ruy Duarte got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lukasz Gmoch kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Brasil in the 57th minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Hafiz Romad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Líbano's Wajdi Abou Hafez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zheng Di Xi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 95 minutes into the match, Líbano's Mohammad Fareed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zheng Di Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
