With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Maule in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Kilstedt saved FC Blueskatterna from getting behind. After 9 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Iruinea. Christian Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Björkman in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when David Pedersson came free, but Christian Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Ånger in the 19th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Vilgot Norberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. FC Blueskatterna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
