Christer Ribe was slow to take the kick. During this time Brufoss IL's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dime La Rocca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Leonardo Raheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Opdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Tom Utheim got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Raheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Leonardo Raheiro made a precise shot to the right of Leif Opdal. Brufoss IL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Markham to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Leonardo Raheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Opdal came out of the goal and Leonardo Raheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dime La Rocca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Markham, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Soloman Solo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soloman Solo couldn't finish the play. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Brufoss IL's much stronger midfield.
