In the 7th minute, Fabian Borg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Malte Olofsson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Lino Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Fabian Borg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustav Norberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustav Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mangion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Norberg came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Julian Savona. But to his dismay, Julian Savona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Aro FC defense, Martin Mangion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustav Norberg. The Aro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustav Norberg should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Aro FC's Josef Hellbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antoine Gilson. That made the score 1-4 after 35 minutes of play. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jurgen Montalto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mangion in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustav Norberg saved Aro FC from getting behind. The Sliema Dragons FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustav Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mangion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Hellbom got free with Antoine Gilson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoine Gilson had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sune Svartengren from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Savona in the 48th minute of play forced Aro FC's goalkeeper Gustav Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Aro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sliema Dragons FC were winning 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sune Svartengren to strike the kick off in the second half. Sliema Dragons FC's Antoine Gilson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Svartengren in the 52nd minute of play. Antoine Gilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jurgen Montalto kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Julian Savona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Fabian Borg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Borg got free with Gustav Norberg in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Carl Mamo in the 71st minute of play forced Aro FC's goalkeeper Gustav Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Norberg came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Fabian Borg. But to his dismay, Fabian Borg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 83 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Svartengren came free, but Antoine Gilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Josef Hellbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Antoine Gilson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jean Carl Mamo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Carl Mamo couldn't finish the play. Sliema Dragons FC's Antoine Gilson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Svartengren in the 95th minute of play. The Sliema Dragons FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sliema Dragons FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
