Biagio Polo came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares. But to his dismay, Gaueko Nanclares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Biagio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Tomasz Kaznocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biagio Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 13 minutes Aris Salonicco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Victoro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Momentum FC's Esteban Aguirre to fire away a dangerous shot which Biagio Polo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Momentum FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Momentum FC's Esteban Aguirre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 18th minute of play forced Aris Salonicco FC's goalkeeper Biagio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 19th minute of play. Aris Salonicco FC's Biagio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Jerold in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Anibal Jatsu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Marius Ichimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giampaolo Pazzini got free with Loco De la Maza in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Jerold spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Aris Salonicco FC's goal. The throw-in from Bianco Trivelli in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Momentum FC's Eulalio Eder. In the 38th minute, Anibal Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Martin Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Victoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Biagio Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Aris Salonicco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Biagetti to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Momentum FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Moises Bartolome made the kick off in the second half. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giampaolo Pazzini in the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Giampaolo Pazzini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Loco De la Maza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
