Ariel Bitxintxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Niculae Arbore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpathian Wolves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ViCeNzA the free kick. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Arbore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nichifor Mărăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 19 minutes on the clock, Niculae Arbore commited a dangerous tackle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Segio made a kick off. Ariel Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Boroș in the 53rd minute of play. Nichifor Mărăscu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ViCeNzA's Ciro Rosalio. But to his dismay, Ciro Rosalio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Sucigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Platon was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
