An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Perico in the 5th minute of play forced Cabildo FC's goalkeeper Patricio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Píriz Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabildo FC's goalkeeper Patricio Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Rufino Rengifo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Cuenca. Rufino Rengifo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Romeo Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Robert Maturana came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cabildo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Maturana couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josué Galilea was the one to do the kick off. Mario Cuenca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufino Rengifo in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Rufino Rengifo came free, but Mario Cuenca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Beto Píriz Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A.A. Cachila booed when Cabildo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufino Rengifo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, A.A. Cachila's Beto Píriz Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Toledo. Patricio Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Galilea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Arias hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Robert Maturana struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mario Cuenca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabildo FC. A.A. Cachila's Mario Cuenca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 89th minute of play. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufino Rengifo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blessing Adedokun hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Rengifo in the 93rd minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.A. Cachila succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cabildo FC had controlled the match.
