Rickard Alefors hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Brain Struik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Tiberiu Filip got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match, Eliodor Arnăuțescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jon Göransson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Ioniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led spikarna's Sven-Erik Blomkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Ioniță despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Filip in the 41st minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Jon Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, Brain Struik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Göransson came out of the goal and Brain Struik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Asmundsson to make the kick off. Sten Asmundsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabian Ioniță firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jon Göransson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brain Struik went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. spikarna's Jon Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Struik in the 61st minute of play. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after spikarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliodor Arnăuțescu took the corner. In the 80th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Arnăuțescu to maneuver through the defense. Olcay Orkun Türcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Fabian Ioniță made a huge save. spikarna were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven-Erik Blomkvist took the corner. Fabian Ioniță came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Ola Gustafsson. But to his dismay, Ola Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. spikarna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
